Branford Marsalis - one of the biggest influences on my life period. He got me to go to New York and has been so, so
helpful in everything - a true LEGEND.

Joshua Redman - people regualry comment that I 'bite' alot off Joshua, which is a real compliment as I think that his sound is one of the most soulful and energetic around!

Eric Alexander - A fellow jazz fan got me onto Eric's recordings, (and there are a few!) Superb straight ahead bop player with one of the finest tones in the business, Eric is well worth listening too!

Sonny Rollins - Saxophone colossus, living legend and fellow Williamsburg bridge busker!

Lebayle Saxophone products Branford, Wayne Shorter and a whole load of other Sax players including me now play on Lebayle mouthpieces. Check them out!

Michael Brecker - Very sadly passed away in January 2007 after a long battle against illness. A true legend of Jazz his playing
is just something every Sax player worth their salt bites off.

Dave Camwell - Professor of Saxophone and Jazz studies at Simpson College IA USA and regular contributor to the Saxophone Journal

Engine Room Studios - Headed by my long term drummer J Hoy, The ENGINE ROOMS is a multi-arts centre and home to Westgate Studios LTD, Forward Motion CIC, Phon Records and Sugarman Records..

John Coltrane - One of the greatest musicians and
possibly the most important post war musician in terms of impact.

Ravi Coltrane - John's son a great modern day Sax player
there's a good story about meeting him in NYC and not
recognizing him!!!

Albert Garza is a professional saxophonist, originally from Texas and now based in London. He is available for sessions, gigs and has a very cool self designed site!

Christian Forshaw - not related but his album Sanctuary is fantastic. Christian is professor of Saxophone at Guildhall.

Jeff "Tain" Watts - Branford Marsalis', Michael Brecker's and a whole load of other guys PHENOMENAL drummer & great guy

Ben Castle - Jamie Cullum, Harry Potter and a load of others have been privileged enough to have Ben on their music. A great bloke and a good laugh too.

Jan Garbreck - Mike Haughton got me into this guy, took me time as his own stuff isn't jazz but its grown on me, and I love his work with the Hillard Ensemble

Greg Fishman - Chicago based Jazz musician and educator got his etude book and its great n shedding it everyday and I love it great teaching tool!!

Mike Taylor - Blackpool based Jazz pianist a great friend and co collaborator on Time Stood Still, my third album.

Jesus House - the home of the Tribe of Judah Gospel Choir who I am very privileged to play with!!
