The
band will require access to the stage no later than 2 hours prior to the
performance taking place. Depending on
the level of backline / PA supplied by the Purchaser (as per contract) the
following should be in place BEFORE setup is commenced. 6 Mic
stands positioned as on diagram with phantom powered XLR type mic leads on
the stands. (Please ensure clips are
provided). A
SM58 or equivalent should be placed in the centre of the stage for
introducing the band and talking to the audience this should if possible
contain a on / off switch on the microphone it self. A
single phantom powered xlr lead should be left by the drummer so that a bass
drum mic can be rigged up. Should
the size of venue require it may be necessary to DI the bass guitar and or
keyboards please ensure the facility to do this is available to the
band. No
part of the bands instruments or equipment should be moved or touched without
prior consent of the band member concerned, please ensure ALL members of the
stage team are aware of this. Following
the conclusion of the performance please do not start de-rigging any of the
PA until the band have de-rigged their instruments. This is to stop damage to valuable musical
instruments and a cluttered stage. |

Requirements Fold
back should contain a general mix of the band but the Vocals, Sax and
keyboard parts should be the more prominent in each monitor (subject to sound
check). Suggested
FX / Dynamic settings. 1. Vocals—Slight hall setting
(low) Compressor (as standard vocals) De –esser / enhancer as required. 2. Sax - Concert Hall reverb slight compressor |
